Abstract Guidelines

Please read the submission and e-poster requirements carefully before uploading your abstract.

IAACON 2026 Abstract Submission

Submit your abstract using the official portal. Make sure all requirements below are followed to avoid rejection or delays.

Submission Window

  • Abstract submission opens on January 30, 2026.
  • Abstract submission closes on June 30, 2026.

Eligibility and Limits

  • Abstracts can be submitted only after conference registration is completed.
  • The presenting author must submit the abstract personally.
  • A presenting author can submit a maximum of two abstracts for IAACON 2026.
  • Changes in presenting author are allowed only once and must be requested at least one month before the conference.

Submission Rules

  • Abstract submission is accepted only through the official IAACON 2026 abstract portal.
  • Abstracts must be original and not previously published.
  • Do not include identifying details such as hospital or clinic names in the title or text.
  • Do not include author names or affiliations in the abstract body.

Abstract Preparation Instructions

  • Language: English.
  • Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12, double spaced.
  • Title must be concise, without abbreviations, and not in all caps.
  • Maximum 250 words (excluding title and author information).
  • Do not include references, graphs, figures, or tables.
  • Check spelling and grammar carefully. Abstracts will be published as submitted.

E-Poster Presentation Specifications (General)

  • Display on 42 inch (diagonal) LCD screen.
  • Format: PowerPoint (.PPT).
  • File size: 10-20 MB.
  • Slides must be in landscape orientation.
  • No animations, movies, or sounds. Submit static PPT only.

E-Poster Design Specifications

  • Each slide must have a title in the title placeholder.
  • Text should include: Introduction, Aim, Methods, Results, Conclusion, and Acknowledgements.
  • Text must be concise, well organized, and self explanatory.
  • Suggested font size: 26 to 36 pt. Use clear, simple fonts (e.g., Helvetica).
  • If it is clearly visible on your screen, it is good for display.

Color Suggestions

  • Use dark fonts (black, navy, dark green) on light backgrounds.
  • Use light fonts (white, yellow, cyan) on dark backgrounds.
  • Avoid red or green text or backgrounds for readability.

Illustrations and Images

  • Ensure images are large enough to show important details.
